Tapada e Palacio das Necessidades

The Palace is the Headquarters of the Portuguese Prime Minister, but only the gardens are open to the public in the first sunday of each month and is free guided tour. This Palace was where the last King of Portugal stayed before going to Mafra, then when Napoleon was almost arriving to invade Portugal, the last King exile to Brazil, he never return back. Big part of the convent is covered by XVIII century Portuguese Tiles.
